The Texas Geophysical Society is a student run organization for geophysics students at the University of Texas at Austin. They serve as the UT Society of Exploration Geophysicists student chapter. They are an organization dedicated to fostering communication and collaboration among geophysicists at UT, connecting our students with current work done in and outside of academia, and promoting science in the community. They organize technical seminars, social events for students, and volunteer events around Austin.
